Recent Productions
- Ongoing - Development for Tango Card enjoys most of my attention lately. We're working on bringing great new value conservation tools--stay tuned. I'm also delving into occasional projects with SwellPath and their clients. I also have some exciting new projects I'm not yet able to discuss. Most of my new work has been in the realm of offering technology advice to new efforts, auditing the technology of existing web productions, fire-jumping on late projects, and general web problem-solving.
- Six Apart - I was called upon to review the WordPress plugin for TypePad Conversations. I looked into some security, a bug with older versions, and tightened up a few parts of the code. Though it was already a very well-constructed plugin with great support, the debugging proved worth calling me in.
- MOTO Development Group - For a refresh of the labs.moto.com WordPress blog, I implemented a design, researched and applied plugins, and created supporting theme functions. MOTO was purchased by Cisco before this project could be completed.
- Tango Card - To support a new iPhone gift-card management application, I created a secure and stable interface between the membership and merchant server and an easily editable front-end. I created WordPress plugins and themes to support the displaying and editing of external membership and financial data and user preferences. Work included creating unit tests in interfaces in jQuery and working with some wonderful people. Ongoing responsibilities include development, security and infrastructure as Senior Engineer.
- Girl Effect Tab - Working for Wieden+Kennedy on this Nike Foundation project, I created an application in cached static fbml within the limits of facebook's tab, using the facebook api and google's youtube api. The programming included automating daily and weekly retrieval and normalization of diverse data and error reporting. It was a fun challenge to work on such an elegant design within the constraints of changing roadmap facebooks.
- Swellpath - I implemented a precise design implementation using CSS and jQuery for this WordPress-based CMS. I also modified their method of feautring content to accommodate their growing needs. All executed with an eye towards an easy-to-use interface for the diverse needs of this growing business.
- Black Diamond Equipment - Swift Collective hired me to team up with some great people to work on back-end and front-end challenges. Technologies and tasks include jQuery, Google Maps API, geolocation, ERP integration with Magento, retailer data wrangling, and site automation.
- Ryz website - In preparation for Magic: The Gathering design contest and other great plans, I helped pump up ryzwear.com. I further customized and extended the Zend-based social networking platform they had installed. I touched up the Content Management System, and did some Smarty template work.
- Six Apart/TypePad WordPress Plugin - I had the opportunity to work with Six Apart and offer their AntiSpam and Media services through a WordPress plugin. It became a big deal within hours of being introduced. (See it on github)
- nshrine.com - using jQuery, Paypal, Google Checkout, OpenId, LAMP, all layout, database and programming
- nshrine facebook app - using the nshrine infrastructure, I offer a parallel service on facebook
- nshrine's twitter instructions - a twitter bot checks for messages and places candles in nshrine, many features
- vibe-o-mat - a facebook messaging service in collaboration with goopymart
- wingmail - announce bot re-publishing content to twitter users
- arcalus.com - WordPress-based website

- alamedametalworks.com - site that ranks very highly in search engines and generates a lot of leads
